Dr. Sunny Fridge is an award-winning professional speaker, educator, and communications consultant. She is a certified coach, speaker, and trainer with the John Maxwell Team. Dr. Sunny is the founder of Chance Network Inc, a non-profit venture that empowers young people and women through personal and professional development. She is the creator of Speak & Shine communication and public speaking workshops and courses for kids and adults. Prior to her retirement, Dr. Sunny was a university professor in Communications and Journalism for 20 years. While working for CBS when she lived in New York City, she enjoyed interviewing newsmakers like General Colin Powell, Regis Philbin, and Oprah Winfrey!

Isabel Kadoorie is a software engineer (MS EE, MS CS) and long-time toastmaster.  She served as Club officers in several Toastmasters clubs and as District 18 Administration Manager. She is devoted to helping children and youth develop communication and leadership skills. "Public speaking skills will do wonders for your life," she often said to kids. She started a Youth Gavel Club in 2019. To better serve the needs of young people, she then teamed with Dr. Sunny Fridge to architect the Speak & Shine® Academy. Isabel's Child, Angela, has been a member of the Academy and the Club since the very beginning. Along with many other student members, Angela learned how to be a better communicator and confident speaker.  Speak & Shine has been helping more and more young people unleash their inner power!

Cynthia is Toastmasters International District 18 Immediate Past Director and a long time contributor to youth leadership development.
