Members of our youth club practice how to present great speeches, how to speak “off the cuff”, and how to evaluate other members’ speeches in a constructive way. They also learn how to manage a meeting and do the different roles.
Our club meetings have a formal structure. They are run by student members and assisted by our club coach and other contributors.
To ensure high-quality meetings, our members are required to complete the Confident Speaker Series before joining the club. Exceptions may apply if a potential member already has sufficient public speaking experience.
