Members of our public speaking club practice how to present great speeches, speak “off the cuff,” and evaluate fellow members’ speeches constructively. They also learn how to manage a meeting and fulfill different student meeting roles, while being aware of upcoming club meeting dates.
Our public speaking club meetings follow a formal structure, focusing on clear student meeting roles. They are facilitated by student members, with support from our club coach and other contributors. Additionally, we provide updates on upcoming club meeting dates to keep everyone informed.

To ensure high-quality meetings, our members are required to complete the Confident Speaker Series before joining the public speaking club. Exceptions may apply if a potential member already has sufficient public speaking experience, especially if they are interested in participating in student meeting roles.
