Members of our youth club practice how to present great speeches, how to speak “off the cuff”, and how to evaluate other members’ speeches in a constructive way. They’ll also learn how to manage a meeting and do all of the different roles. They do these in club meetings.
Meetings are scheduled in advance every six months. Besides regular club meetings, we also organize special meetings, workshops, and speech contests.
Our club meetings have a formal structure. They are run by student members and assisted by our club coach and other contributors.
To ensure high-quality meetings, our members are required to complete the Confident Speaker Series before joining the club. Exceptions may apply if a potential member already has sufficient public speaking experience.
